APS-DS3D

The DS3 from APsystems is the most powerful Dual Micro-inverter for 1-phase grid connection. This device has AC output power up to 1800VA and suitable for the most powerful panels for on both residential and commercial PV rooftops. The DS3 includes 2 low DC voltage input channels, 2 MPPTs and Encrypted Zigbee Communication.

Before installing the APS-DS3D, check that the mains voltage matches the rated voltage of the micro-inverter. Then wire the conductors of the AC bus and then attach the micro-inverter to the mounting system. Grounding the DS3 can be done using the attached grounding ring or copper wire. After this, you connect the inverter to the AC bus cable and place the protective cap. Finally, the panels can be connected and the micro-inverter connected to the grid.

Additional Information

  • One microinverter for 4 solar panels
  • Each channel connects two solar panels in series (for solar panels with a Voc < 60V).The total Voc of the two solar panels connected in series must be within the operating voltage range as stated in the data sheet.
  • We recommend only connecting solar panels of the same make and model in series.
  • If a single solar panel already has a standalone Voc that falls within the operating voltage range (for example, a 96-cell solar panel), then only one solar panel needs to be connected per DC input.
  • The system features two input channels with independent MPPT.
