BYD Battery-Box HVM 13.8 + Base & Cover
The Battery Box HVM 13.8kWh consists of 5 HVM Battery modules of 38kg each and a Base & Cover. The universal BYD HVM Battery Box can be used in many ways. The battery can be used for both single-phase and three-phase high voltage inverters. A major advantage of these batteries is that they can be easily expanded to a larger storage system with a maximum of 66.2 kWh. Due to the Real High-Voltage series connection, the battery has high efficiency. The battery is made of a Cobalt-free Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that ensures maximum safety, longevity and power. BYD has patented the modular plug design that eliminates the need for internal wiring which maximizes flexibility and ease of use.

BYD Battery Box HVS/HVM – Base + Cover
The BYD BCU Battery Control Unit is suitable for all BYD HVS/HVM batteries and comes complete with the base plate, cover, BCU and wall bracket. The BYD-HVS-Base-Cover is essential when building a BYD high voltage battery system. For the HVS, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4-5 modules (depending on the inverter) are needed per tower. The HVM requires a minimum of 3 to 4 (depending on the inverter) and a maximum of 8 modules per tower. A maximum of 3 towers can be installed per installation.
