Growatt MIC 800TL-X

The Growatt MIC 800-X is a lightweight and compact residential inverter. The maximum DC voltage is 500V, a starting voltage of 50V and a rated voltage of 120V. There is one MPPT present with a maximum input of 13A. Safety is an important aspect, partly due to various safeguards. These include a DC switch, surge protection and, for example, the option of AFCI protection. Lightweight and compact At only 6kg, this is a very light inverter, which is also small in size. This makes it easy for one person to install the inverter, saving time and cost. Security and reliability The Growatt MIC 800-X has several security features. For example, there is protection that prevents current on the DC side from suddenly flowing in the opposite direction. Furthermore, there is a switch on the DC side and surge protection on both DC and AC sides. AFCI, or Arc Fault Circuit Interruptor, is optional. Another aspect that contributes to safety is that cooling is via natural convection rather than mechanical cooling. As a result, there are fewer moving parts and the inverter is less prone to wear and tear. As the number of moving parts increases, reliability will decrease, with more risk of failure.
