The LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer LR7-72HVH-635M is a high-performance 635 W solar panel designed specifically for the distribution market. It offers installers a bankable, high-efficiency solution for commercial rooftops and ground-mounted installations. With a module efficiency of 23.5%, it delivers more kWp per square meter, allowing desired system capacities to be achieved with fewer panels and simpler layouts.

The module uses 144 back-contact (BC) cells in a 6×24 arrangement, based on LONGi’s TaiRay wafer platform. This back-contact architecture eliminates shading from front bus bars and ensures lower operating temperatures, resulting in higher field yields compared to conventional mono-PERC designs. For end customers, this means higher energy yields on the same area and better long-term efficiencies.

Mechanically, the LR7-72HVH-635M is designed for demanding conditions. The module measures 2382 × 1134 × 30 mm and weighs 28.5 kg, with a single 3.2 mm coated tempered glass panel on the front and an anodized aluminum frame. The panel is certified for 5400 Pa load on the front and 2400 Pa on the back and has passed hail tests with 25 mm hailstones at 23 m/s, making it suitable for exposed locations with high winds and snow.

For system design, the module supports DC systems up to 1500 V with a maximum series draw of 25 A, providing flexibility for longer strings when combined with modern C&I inverters. Under STC conditions, the LR7-72HVH-635M delivers a Pmax of 635 W, Voc of 53.60 V, Isc of 15.05 A, with Vmp of 44.26 V and Imp of 14.35 A – ideal for high-power string designs with controllable currents.

Temperature performance is another important advantage. With a Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C and a NOCT of 45 ± 2°C, the module better retains its output on hot days. This provides higher daytime output compared to lower-performance modules, especially on dark roofs and commercial sites with high irradiance.

For long-term reliability, LONGi offers a 15-year product warranty on material and manufacture and a 30-year linear power warranty on the Hi-MO X10 Explorer Series. Degradation in the first year remains below 1%, followed by only 0.35% per year from year 2 through 30, maintaining a high percentage of rated power over the life of the module, supporting strong performance guarantees in quotations.
