The Sunny Tripower 6.0 is a lightweight and compact inverter. The shade management system Shadefix, previously known as OptiTrac Global Peak, is a standard part of SMA inverters. SMA additionally offers a fully automatic monitoring system for all inverters. It is also expandable with TS4-R optimizers if necessary due to the presence of integrated TS4-R communication. Easy & fast installation The inverter is lightweight and compact in size. This makes the inverter easy to install by one technician. Moreover, there is no need to open the enclosure, as all connections are accessible from the bottom, including an Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi antenna. Approach is thus quite easy with any suitable device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Shadefix Shadow management is an already present feature in the form of Shadefix. In case of light shading, the Sunny Tripower 6.0 will still perform excellently. Solar cells that capture less light due to shading will normally reduce the overall performance of the panel. Shadefix ensures that these cells are bypassed and the panel experiences less power loss. SMA Smart Connected In addition to the ability to access an SMA portal to view inverter status, SMA offers an automated system – SMA Smart Connected – for all inverters. This system is completely free of charge, with which SMA monitors all inverters. When an abnormality is detected, SMA will notify the customer and installer immediately. This allows the installer to respond immediately. In case a replacement device is needed, SMA will deliver another one within 1 to 3 days. Expansion TS4-R optimizers In case of a more complex installation or heavier shading, the Sunny Tripower 6.0 can be expanded with TS4-R optimizers. This is made possible by the integrated TS4-R communication.
