SolarEdge 3PH Inverter, 33.3kW, Glens, DC safety unit with sWitch and DC SPD

SolarEdge 3PH Inverter, 33.3kW, Glens, DC safety unit with switch and DC SPD, with SetApp configuration (SE33.3K-RW00IBNR4) is a three-phase commercial inverter with connection glands to connect the DC cabling. So it does not have MC4 connectors.
The inverter is also equipped with a type 2 DC surge protector and a Surge Protection Device (SPD) . In terms of communication, two RS485 ports and one Ethernet connection are integrated. There is an option to connect to the inverter via wifi. This does require a separate antenna. The SolarEdge SetApp can then be used for commissioning and monitoring.
Communications
A connection via RS485 is possible via two ports that are standard in the inverter. An Ethernet port is also provided. The possibility of using a WiFi network is there, this does require a separate antenna.
Security
Arc, leakage current and surge protection are all present. Flame arcs are not uncommon. For example, they occur during normal use of switches and plugs. Flame arcs that reach certain proportions, for example, due to defects, can be harmful or even result in fire. Leakage currents also occur. Often these are harmless and are disposed of without any problems. In case a person comes in contact with a particular component experiencing leakage currents can result in dangerous situations. The leakage current protection ensures that the system shuts down within 20 to 40ms as soon as a person comes into contact with the circuit. This prevents electrocution.
DC safety unit with switch
The included DC safety unit with switch is located under the inverter. The switch is a two-pole DC switch. This causes both the neutral and phase wires to be interrupted, so the entire system will be free of current. The SPD will protect the system from overvoltage due to lightning strikes, for example.
This model must be fused at 63 amps.
