Victron Lynx Distributor (M8)
The Victron Lynx Distributor (M8) is a modular DC distribution system used in energy storage systems (such as off-grid or hybrid solar systems). It distributes DC power safely and efficiently to various system components such as inverters, chargers and batteries. The term “M8” refers to the M8 (8 mm) connection bolts for cable connections.
Key features:
- 4 fused connections: The Lynx Distributor has four DC connections, each with its own fuse holder. The system supports MEGA fuses.
- Built-in monitoring: Features LED indicators for the status of each fuse, so you can instantly see if a fuse has blown.
- Part of the Lynx System: Designed to combine with other Victron Lynx modules, such as:
- Lynx Power In (for incoming power distribution)
- Lynx Shunt VE.Can (for current measurement)
- Lynx Smart BMS (for battery management)
- Modular design: components can be physically and electrically interconnected.
