The Sunny Tripower 8.0 is easy to install due to its light weight. Also present is OptiTrac Global Peak, now known as Shadefix. SMA Smart Connected is also standard as a free service from SMA. The inverter is also easy to expand with TS4-R optimizers due to the integrated TS4-R communication. Easy & quick installation At only 20.5kg, this is a relatively lightweight inverter, with a compact design as well. This makes it easy for one person to install. There is no need to open the inverter, as all connections are located on the bottom of the unit. An Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi antenna are included. The user interface can thus be easily accessed by a smartphone, tablet or other suitable device. Shadefix Shadefix is a form of shade management that allows plants with light to medium cloud cover to still function optimally. The Sunny Tripower 8.0 ensures, thanks to Shadefix, that solar cells partially or completely covered by shade do not affect the performance of the entire module. Without Shadefix, such cells would limit power throughput, resulting in power loss for the entire panel. SMA Smart Connected Once the inverter is installed, SMA Smart Connected ensures that it will be monitored automatically. This free system will notify both the installer and the customer in the event of an anomaly. As a result, the parties directly involved know about the problem right away and the installer can then respond appropriately. Should a replacement unit be needed, SMA will deliver it within 1 to 3 days. Expansion TS4-R optimizers In environments with light shade, Shadefix can ensure that the solar panel works optimized. In other cases, such as when the installation is more complex or when there is more shade, expanding the Sunny Tripower 8.0 with TS4-R optimizers can provide a solution. These can be easily added because of the integrated TS4-R communication.
